Bruce Logan expertly articulates many of the inherent problems with the Conversion Practices Prohibition Legislation Bill. He says the bill “is fraught with internal contradiction. It claims to be guarding the autonomy of homosexual and transgender people, but in doing so it actually denies the autonomy of other individuals and parents. The rights and freedoms affirmed by the Bill of Rights Act are ignored… The proposed legislation is a continuing attack on the foundation of Western civilisation’s philosophy of personhood; the rebellion of a generation that denies its material and spiritual history.”

The Government are trying to railroad the “conversion therapy ban” through parliament, but with more than 100,000 submissions there must be extra time given to properly review and consider them.

It’s been a phenomenal response, thanks to you. Your voice definitely counts. Although we don’t know the exact breakdown of “for vs against” the proposed “Conversion Therapy” ban, the Government simply won’t be able to ram this controversial bill through as they wanted to. They now have a major headache.

We encourage you to read the full article, in which the Free Speech Union expertly explain why the the bill is an “ideological over-reach by the Government”, and that the proposed bill not only “undermines free speech” but also constrains “freedom of religious expression and speech”.

Yet another report of state schools knowingly changing a child’s name and ‘gender’ at school, without informing the parents. The school followed a “Gender Support Plan” which informs teachers of a child’s new chosen name and gender identity (“trans,” “agender,” “non-binary,” etc.). The school also provided the girl a year’s worth of counselling in support of her new identity. All this was kept secret from the child’s parents. Netflix does a ‘hit-job’ on Christianity with a poorly constructed ‘documentary’ called Pray Away, which attempts to document the work of Christian ministries involved in ‘conversion therapy’. Woke media reviewers state that Pray Away “follows a brutal narrative arc” … whatever that means. However, author Becket Cook writes a wonderful critique of Netflix, and Hollywood in general, with his article – Netflix’s ‘Pray Away’ Seethes with Contempt for Christianity. Becket has considerable authority on this subject, as he was formerly gay himself and working in Hollywood.
